Polishing a gem

Longtime family friends, Prospector’s Pouch (FYI – best engagement diamonds and rings around), came to Bradford Ink needing a serious overhaul to their main marketing pieces – their business cards and website.  Prospector’s Pouch had a very limited web presence in a very competitive Atlanta-region market.  Therefore, in order to build a proper foundation, Bradford Ink also partnered with local web design company Look2Find to delegate professional-level consultation and coding expertise for a robust and effective end product.

BRANDING UPDATE

Working closely with the Prospector’s family, we were able to find that their signature product is an extremely rare, deep black gemstone called “Georgia Midnight”, mined exclusively by the owner.  It was decided that moving forward, we would showcase this amazing gem in the branding and use it as an aesthetic calling card to strengthen the impact and interest of the business both locally and across the southeast US.

BUSINESS CARDS

Moving forward with the Georgia Midnight theme, the thick-stock business card features both spot gloss highlights and a combination of silver and gold metallic foils on both sides to really complete the elegance of the presentation as well as accurately recreate the actual look of the Georgia Midnight gem.

The owners report that the cards provide them with endless conversation opportunities and customer interest at both the store, and industry-specific shows.

WEB DESIGN AND SUPPORT

The website carries the Georgia Midnight look even further in combination with a bevy of custom graphic details such as dividers, badges, headings, and image frames.  That approach was pursued to again drive home the finely crafted, individual nature of the Prospector’s family-owned and staffed experience.  In addition to some beautiful photography and detailed business information, the multi-page site also features social media connectivity.

Bradford Ink provided client comps, page mockups, and all graphic elements for installation, while the site was both hosted, assembled, and launched by local web design company Look2Find.
